Completed in late 2024, the latest addition to the Nakwema Trailway brings exciting new opportunities to explore more trails on the ground. In collaboration with Acme Township, this critical connection links Bayside Park, the recently completed Acme Connector Trail, and Acme Road. Starting at the southernmost Nakwema trailhead at Bayside Park, the trail winds along the scenic Acme Creek and provides non-motorized access to the Deepwater Point Natural Area via a shared roadway. The Deepwater Connector also establishes a vital link, connecting neighborhoods and businesses to the expansive 100-mile regional trail network.
