Sustainer’s Circle Events

We’re thrilled to announce our 2018-2019 Sustainer’s Circle event schedule. We hope these fun and informal events will give you a chance to get out on the trails to enjoy and learn more about the network and experiences you’re helping to support! Please consider joining us at one or all of them. To RSVP respond to this email or contact Madison Meter, / 231.941.4300 with any questions.

Friday, December 14 – Coffee & Treats on the Vasa Snowshoe Trail

Saturday, February 16 – Ski & Snowshoe Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail is calling! Join us for a guided afternoon cross country ski (or snowshoe hike). Soak in the fresh air while learning about the history of and future plans for the trail, then join us from 2-4pm for warm snacks and a refreshing Leelanau Lambic at Cherry Republic’s Public House in Glen Arbor. Please bring or rent your own skis/snowshoes. RSVP to by 2/8/2019.

May – Hotel Indigo
Time TBD

Please join us at the Hotel Indigo for a conversation about planned giving and other ways to most effectively leverage your super power of giving with the new tax laws. TART Trails’ Board Member and fellow Sustainer George Bearup will provide tips and tricks on the most beneficial ways to give. Join us for food, drinks and some friendly conversation. More details coming soon.

Saturday, August 24 – Bike & Boat
Time TBD

We’re excited to announce another Bike & Boat outing! This fun and unique Sustainer event is a collaboration with Inland Seas. We’ll bike one way on the Leelanau Trail (with a halfway pit stop at Shady Lane Cellars) to board the Inland Seas Schooner and enjoy dinner and drinks aboard as we sail West Bay. This is a ticketed event and space is limited. Please inquire with Madison Meter if you are interested!
