Wednesday, May 30 – Hotel Indigo
5:00 – 6:30pm
Please join us at the beautiful Hotel Indigo for a conversation about planned giving and other ways to most effectively leverage your super power of giving with the new tax laws. TART Trails’ Board Member and fellow Sustainer George Bearup will provide tips and tricks on the most beneficial ways to give. Join us for food, drinks and some friendly conversation. Friday, June 15 – Coffee at the Caboose
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Join us for a beautiful morning stroll on the Leelanau Trail. We’ll have the caboose open and coffee and treats on hand. TART staff Julie Clark and Chris Kushman and Leelanau Trail Association founder, LT Ambassador and fellow Sustainer, Dave Monstrey, will be on hand to share Leelanau Trail stories old and new alike.
Friday, August 10 – Bike & Boat
Noon – 6:00 pm
We’re excited to announce Bike & Boat is back! At this unique Sustainer event, a collaboration with Inland Seas, we bike from Suttons Bay to Traverse City (with a halfway pit stop at Shady Lane Cellars) to board the Inland Seas Schooner and enjoy dinner and drinks aboard as we sail back to Suttons Bay. This is a ticketed event and space is limited. Please inquire with Kate Lewis if you are interested!
Wednesday, August 22 – Talking Trails
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Join TART Trails staff, including Julie Clark and Chris Kushman, for an evening to learn more about efforts underway for the Traverse City to Charlevoix Trail. More details to come on location and logistics.
Friday, December 7 – Coffee with the Groomers
10:00 am to Noon
Meet up at the Bartlett Road trailhead for coffee, pastries and good conversation with the groomers. Tour the barn and check out the grooming equipment. Learn about how the Vasa comes to life in the winter and what it means to groom for world class trails. Afterward enjoy a ski, snowshoe or hike with TART Trails’ staff and fellow Sustainers.
