Vineyard 2 Bay 15k

Join us for the 5th annual Vineyard to Bay races . The 15k is a beautiful point to point course starting at Brengman Brothers at Crain Hill Vineyards (9720 S Center Hwy, Traverse City, MI 49684) and finishing at West Bay Shore Village. (5046 S West Bay Shore Dr Suttons Bay, Michigan 49682) The 5k is also point to point course that starts at L Mawby Vineyard (4519 Elm Valley Rd, Suttons Bay, MI 49682) and shares the same finish as the 15k.
The earlier you register the more you save. This is a not for profit event with proceeds benefiting TART Trails and local school groups who volunteer their time to assist with this event.
Registration for the 2018 Vineyard to Bay races is open! Pre-registration will close August 28 at 11:59 p.m. Registration continues Saturday September 1 from 3-6 p.m. during packet pickup at West Bay Shore Village. Race day registration will take place at both the 15k & 5k starting locations beginning at 6:30 a.m.

- Unisex 100% poly tank tops or 100% cotton t-shirts are available for purchase on entries received by August 10. Cost is $10.
- Your entry is transferable/deferrable for the same event if done by August 10. No refunds.
- You may revise your entry from the 15k to the 5k if done prior to the preregistration closing date on August 28. No changes will be made after this date.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, September 1 at West Bay Shore Village, 5046 S West Bay Shore Drive, Suttons Bay, MI 49682. Thai Food & Artisan Pizza + wine tasting is available for participants at the 22 Vines Cafe. Go to https://www.facebook.com/22vines/ for more information.
Parking & Bus Shuttle
Parking will take place at West Bay Shore Village at the corner of Hill Top Road and M-22. Shuttle buses will transport 15k participants to the start (and race day registration) from 6:30 to 7:15 with the drive to Crain Hill Vineyard (9720 S Center Hwy, Traverse City, MI 49684) taking 10 minutes. Shuttle buses will transport 5k participants to the start (and race day registration) from 7:15 to 8:00 with the drive to L Mawby Vineyard (4519 Elm Valley Rd, Suttons Bay, MI 49682) taking 5 minutes. Temporary parking is available at both Crain Hill Vineyard & L Mawby Vineyard however all cars must be off the premises 15 minutes after the start of each race. This way, friends or family members can drive participants directly to the starting line of both races without having to take the shuttle bus. A drop box will be available at each starting line to return items to the finish area. However, we cannot be responsible for misplaced items.
Medical
A SAG vehicle on the course will be in contact with aid stations and EMS personnel to transport runners needing to return to the finish at West Bay Shore Village. In the unfortunate event you cannot complete the course, please make every attempt to end at one of the aid stations where first aid kits and volunteers with cell phones can assist you in a timely manner.
Additional Information
The 15k course will remain open for 2.5 hours (10:30 a.m.) allowing for a pace of 15 minutes per mile. Vehicle traffic will be monitored by local law enforcement personnel and trail ambassadors. Be aware that local vehicle traffic may be sharing the roads and recreational traffic sharing the Leelanau trail.
