Mile Marker Sponsorship
Show your love for TART Trails and connect with thousands of people who enjoy the trails by sponsoring a mile marker along the TART Trail or Boardman Lake Loop Trail. All sponsorship proceeds directly support trail maintenance. Annual mile marker sponsorships are $1,500 and include a custom sign featuring your business logo or a personal dedication. Sponsors are also recognized as members of the TART Trails Sustainers Circle, a community of supporters committed to keeping trails vibrant for generations to come.

Wayfinding Sign Sponsorship
Trail users benefit from signage that helps orient them along the trail and helps direct them to places along the way. Sign sponsors are recognized as members of TART Trails’ Sustainers Circle of Donors. The annual cost of sponsorship is $1,000.

Trail Bench Sponsorship
TART Trails currently offers a limited number of benches on the Boardman Lake Loop Trail and along the Acme Connector Trail, where benches have already been pre-installed. Due to the high number of existing benches on the Leelanau Trail, we have paused new installations on the Leelanau Trail. Bench sponsorship is a one-time donation of $10,000.

Event Sponsorship
TART Trails hosts several events to encourage active transportation and to experience the trails on bicycle and foot such as Smart Commute Week in June, Tour de TART in July, Oktoberfest in October and others throughout the year.

Vasa Kilometer Marker Sponsorship
Vasa Kilometer Marker Sponsorships are available each winter along the Vasa Pathway. Proceeds from the Vasa K-Markers are designated for grooming. K-Marker sponsorship is $300 annually plus a one-time $100 set up fee for new or updated signs. This sponsorship includes a sign on the Vasa Pathway for the North American Vasa race, emailed grooming reports and two grooming badges for the season.
