See the riches of our region on a one-way bike on the Leelanau Trail from Traverse City to Suttons Bay, followed by a sail back to Traverse City on the Inland Seas Schooner. We’ll transport your bikes and provide dinner, drinks and good company on board.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

12:15 p.m. Meet at the Discovery Center Collaborative at 13170 S W Bay Shore Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684, Follow the signs for the tour boat and tall ship parking. Restrooms and free parking available.
12:30 p.m. Depart heading north on Leelanau Trail to Shady Lane Cellars (~11 miles)
1:30 p.m. Arrive at Shady Lane Cellars for hors d’ oeuvres and wine tasting
3:00 p.m. Depart Shady Lane heading north on Leelanau Trail to Inland Seas (~6 miles)
3:30 p.m. Arrive at the Inland Seas Capt. Thomas M. Kelly Biological Station, 100 Dame Street, Suttons Bay. Change and board the ship*
4:00 p.m. Board the ship
4:30 p.m. Set sail
5:30 p.m. Welcome and dinner
7:00-7:30 p.m. Arrive back at the Discovery Center
*Suttons Bay Bikes will provide bike transport back to vehicles
